In Giant Animation we worked on both a short film for Evergreen Hills followed by developing the characters and world from the series of shorts into two seasons. Coming onboard towards the end of the 2D development for the short film, I worked closely with the Art Director over seeing the the progression of the 2D work right to post production.
For the series we tackled making the characters and world from the shorts to be more managable for series production all while fleshing out the world from the scripts. We worked with the series directors to make sure designs of characters and sets worked for their episodes needs while also creating colourkeys to drive the lighting and comp of the episodes. Season one aired at the end of 2024, season two will be released later in 2025.
During the production we were also heavily involved in creating promotional artwork for Chick-Fil-A helping with the kids meals and toys as well as promotional posters.
Please find a selection of artwork below from the team that I helped lead. Working to cover as much information going into 3D and later into the pipeline, while also exploring multiple designs for the direction of the series and how it moved away from the short films.
