Tickety Boo! Peek Zoo is a TV series based on the popular childrens book series by Kevin Waldron. I worked as a lead background artist during my time in Dreamlogic Studios.
Working closely with the director and breaking down the artwork provided by Kevin and to adapt his style and make it work for the storyboards. The show was really stylised and simple which was really fun to work on removing what wasn’t needed.
I lead a team of three junior artists, training them into the style/workflow while creating key backgrounds, breaking down the episodes and tracking all this work for the production team, coordinating with the animation lead to prioritise elements needed by the overseas studio.
